1965 Mitchell 400 Special Spinning Reel in Very Good Working Condition

Mitchell 400 Special spinning reel, manufactured in France in 1965, serial number 4782235 engraved on the foot.
This is the same reel as the Garcia Mitchell 400, but this model was manufactured for European distribution, with not many units made with the Special sticker.

This reel has been used, and the paintwork has some rubbing on the edges of the housing, edges of the rotating head and the stem and where the foot attaches to the rod (see pictures). The reel is fully functioning with a smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The chrome is shiny and the bail spring is strong and flips over with a loud click.
This is a very good condition, hard to find, fully functioning, nearly 60 year old reel, to fish with or add to a collection.
