1974 Garcia Mitchell 300C Spinning Reel, in Matching Box, Extra Spool &

Garcia Mitchell 300C spinning reel with roller bearings, manufactured in France in 1974, serial number C311143 engraved on the foot, and printed on a white label attached to the side of the box.
Comes in black and red clam shell box with yellow insert, sleeve, extra spool in Mitchell container and all papers.
This is the second version of the Mitchell 300C, with the narrow anti-reverse lever, large lettering on the cover plate and a roller line guide.

This reel has been used, and the paintwork has rubs and light scratches on the edges of the housing, the rotor and the foot where it attaches to the rod (see pictures). The reel is fully functioning with a very smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The chrome is shiny and the bail spring is strong.
The box is solid, with a small crack on the hinge and the yellow tray is intact. The extra spool is in a Mitchell plastic container with no cracks. The second version card sleeve has shelf wear and tears.
The spools still have Garcia Royal Bonnyl stickers on the bottom.
This is a very good condition, fully functioning, nearly 50 year old reel, complete in it's original box with original papers, to fish with or add to a collection.
